Join g0v's hackathon to hack a better society with all enthusiastic hackers!

WHAT IS A g0v HACKATHON ?

A g0v hackathon is a collaborative event organized by the g0v (pronounced “gov zero”) community, where individuals from diverse backgrounds, such as developers, designers, activists, researchers, and policymakers, come together to co-create civic technology projects. These projects aim to improve transparency, public participation, and social innovation.

Held every two months, g0v hackathons provide an open and inclusive space equipped with resources like Wi-Fi, food, and drinks. Participants work on various open-source projects that address societal issues, ranging from government data visualization to public service tools. The event emphasizes creativity, collaboration, and sharing, fostering a vibrant community dedicated to making the world a better place through technology.

WHY SHOULD YOU COME ?

g0v is one of the biggest civic tech communities in the world. We uncover problems, brainstorm ideas, and develop solutions to make the government more accessible, transparent, and open! 

WHO SHOULD COME ?

YOU! EVERYONE! We welcome "hackers" from all kinds of professionals, all curious individuals, and all who want to make a change. Our participants include coders, designers, activists, government officials, legal experts, writers, journalists, and etc.

💡 Important Notes

  • By attending this event, you agree to comply with the g0v Community Code of Conduct. We are committed to providing a harassment-free environment for all participants, regardless of gender, age, sexual orientation, disability, appearance, race, or religion. We do not tolerate harassment of any kind.
  • Drinks, snacks, and Wi-Fi will be provided at the venue. Please bring your own water bottle, utensils, and devices (such as laptops or tablets).
  • Due to limited seating, a “NO SHOW” will deprive others of the opportunity to attend. If you are unable to participate, please make sure to cancel your ticket on KKTIX to allow someone else to take your place.
  • If you're facing difficulties or have any questions during the event, or if any participant experiences harassment or uncomfortable situations, please let the event host know. Staff will be wearing yellow vests on-site.

💡 注意事項

  • 參加活動代表你同意遵守 g0v 社群行為守則。本活動致力於提供一個無騷擾的環境給每一位參與者，無論其性別、年紀、性傾向、身心理狀態、外貌、種族或信仰。我們絕不容忍任何人對會議參與者任何形式的騷擾。
  • 現場提供飲料餐點與網路，請自備您的水壺、餐具及傢俬（筆電、平板等）。
  • 因為名額有限，「NO SHOW」不出席會損害其他人出席的機會，若真的不克出席，請記得到 KKTIX 取消票券，將機會讓給其他人。

💪 活動形式？怎麼參與？

台灣零時政府黑客松由 g0v 揪松團舉辦，兩個月一次的單天活動，百名與會者來自不同的城市、背景、專長與年紀，利用三分鐘快速發表自己想做的事，並在現場尋找志同道合的夥伴，發揮各自所長，同時透過線上與線下協作的方式，用弄髒雙手的精神來「讓事情發生」。

😺 什麼樣子的人適合參加？——想看見改變的人

  • 有想法想找人幫忙的人！
  • 有計畫想運用資訊科技的人！
  • 以開放透明網路參與為號召的組織！
  • 有專案一直沒做完的坑主！
  • 有專案一直找不到人的坑主！
  • 想知道黑客松到底是什麼的好奇人！

🖖 沒有想法，我也可以貢獻嗎？不會寫 code，也可以參與嗎？

可以！只要帶上你的腦袋與雙手，直接到活動現場找尋志同道合的提案吧！
不會寫 code 也沒關係，g0v 社群歡迎所有公民、鄉民、憤青、開發者、設計者、社會運動工作者、公務員、法律專家、文字工作者、藝術家、媒體工作者、教育工作者等諸眾，帶著熱血來盡一己之力，開源協作參與社會。

主辦 g0v 百人大黑客松與基礎松的工作小組，2012 年底開始舉辦雙月大松，2014 年後正式取名為「揪松團」，並於 2016 年開始招募正職員工，重啟社群基礎建設計畫，希望在大黑客松之餘，讓線上與線下的跨界協作更為順暢。
